An Upper West side landmarked townhouse was converted from a three family into a one family residence. The first, second, and third floors were adapted with minor modifications to feel as part of the new residence. An elevator
was installed and the existing stair from the first to third floor was extended.
The fourth floor became the master bedroom suite with two bathrooms. The fifth floor has a mediaroom and guest rooms, while the Cellar opens to the rear yard and houses a movie theater.
A new stair and bulkhead connect the roof terrace with the media room and provides additional lighting. The accessible roof terrace makes great use for summer time activities.
